(Again; another case of "Guess That Breed!" and we just don't know. She looks most like an "Entlebucher Mountain Dog," but petfinder doesn't include that breed on their list. These photos were taken at our adoption days where she's done very well with people and other dogs.) According to her foster, Luann is a "loving gal who is very friendly and loves to go for walks and runs. Great for car riding, but would say, 'please don't put me in a cage.' She takes awhile to get on with other dogs but now gets on great with her dog family in her new foster home and she loves cats. LuAnn has also visited the neighbors goats and lets herself into their pen. They just play like she would with other dogs and all seem to have a great time. She would be fine with children who wouldn't try to pull her tail or ears; her ears appear to have suffered some damage in her past (hence the "no small children" notation). We are working on that and she is doing very well. She is house-broken and also loves her time outdoors. In the house she is very quiet, but will need training early on if left loose alone. (Talk with us about that.) She does not like to go into crates, so if this will be necessary, it will need some work. LuAnn knows some basic commands and will work great in a family willing to give her a chance to know she is loved and will help her to forget her past treatment which, we suspect, hasn't always been kind. So if you're looking for a sweet gal who has lots of love to give, Luann is the gal for you!"
